Studio Tour
I must confess…
I am excited to write after a very long absence from your mailbox.
The Tour of the Arts where we likely met, is returning after a two-year hiatus. Circle May 21-22 on your calendar. I am looking forward to seeing you on the Victoria Day weekend, definitely on Saturday and Sunday, maybe Monday-depending.
There will be two wonderful artist friends with me, so you have 3 times the talent. Dar West will be bringing her fabulous paintings and Joanne Purchase will display her one-of-a-kind jewelry. My work will focus on my platinum-palladium photographs. Copies of my book will also be available (more below about that)
Life has changed for everyone since we last met. I dismantled my darkroom when my husband became ill and put my energy into writing. My book, The F.I.X. Code, is partially a memoire, but more a look at how our unconscious mind rules our behaviour without our being aware. I am fascinated by how behaviour can be changed easily. It doesn’t have to be difficult.
I created a new website to announce the studio tour and tempt you with samples of the art that will be on display. There is a brief bio of Dar, Joanne, and myself. Enjoy the Corner House Studio website here.
I know it’s been a while since the tours and life has changed. If you choose to say good-bye, the unsubscribe link is below but I am sorry to see you go. I loved having you in my creative world.
If you choose to stay on my mailing list, that is awesome. In the next week or so, I will email you a copy of the Tour of the Arts brochure with info about all the participating artists. When I post, look for a brief newsletter, a posting on FB or Instagram and/or carrier pigeons at your window. (Maybe not that.)
